FM via The Leonids Meteor Shower (November 17 - 19)

These recordings are fowrard scatter recordings done during 
the Leonids meteor shower. The FM stations recorded are a long 
distance from my location. The Leonids are fast meteors that 
produce long duration trains which persist for many minutes. 
Note how the FM reception suffers from the "Picket Fence" 
effect -  the same as when travelling in a car.
Some even exhibit doppler whistles as the meteor comes in!

I generally use High Quality FM tuners connected to 12 Element 
FM yagi antennas.

NB: These mp3s are encoded at 320k bitrate for high quality, 
hence the file sizes are LARGE. Broadband internet access is 
recommended. As these are free for you to download, I'd appreciate
